About this dua
Imam Hassan al-Askari (as) wrote this dua for his companion Abu Muhammad, who had requested to learn the proper way of reciting salawat. It is known as the supplication for the swift fulfilment of legitimate desires.
The merciful Allah is beseeched in the name of the Holy Prophet and his Ahl al-Bayt, the noblest of creation. Allama Majlisi narrates from Ibn Babawayh that there is no difficulty this dua does not solve.
